Item is as pictured. It came in the original box, which was quite shabby by the time it reached me. I put a AAA battery in the robot and it responded well to my commands. For some reason, it could only play half of the songs in its repertoire. It took 2 weeks to be delivered here in the US. If you don't turn the switch to OFF when not in use, it drains the battery pretty fast. You will also need a small screwdriver to open the battery hatch.
